After flying high against Norwood on Friday, Western Hills came back down to earth. The Mustangs took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clark Montessori Cougars on Saturday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

John Farris made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Deuce Jefferies, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Western Hills' record now sits at 3-3. As for Clark Montessori, their record is now 3-4.

Looking ahead, Western Hills will head out on the road to challenge Withrow at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clark Montessori, they will host Bowsher at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
