Basketball Game Preview: Fairview Knights vs. Holy Family Tigers

Fairview has won five straight games at home, while Holy Family has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Fairview Knights will host the Holy Family Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Fairview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Fairview strolled past Centaurus with points to spare, taking the game 54-40. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Warriors are ranked 147th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Spencer Brown was his usual excellent self, going 5 of 9 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. Toray Davis was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Holy Family beat Frederick 56-43 on Friday.

Holy Family's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Fairview, they are also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
