Softball Recap: Brookings Find Success

Brookings's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Bobcats have won three contests by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brookings' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Aberdeen Central, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brookings will take on rival Pierre T.F. Riggs at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Aberdeen Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Watertown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
