Basketball Recap: Vernon Comes Up Short

Vernon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a hard 60-45 fall against the Jacksboro Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-46 back in January.

Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Jacksboro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-9.

Looking ahead, Vernon will be playing in front of their home fans against City View at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jacksboro, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers take on the Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
