Basketball Recap: Sedan Takes a Loss

Sedan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Paul Indians, falling 43-21. If the Devils were looking for revenge after losing 40-31 to them when the teams met back in February of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Sedan lost, don't look at Jasmine Ballard. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Sedan's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for St. Paul, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Sedan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-44 victory against Caldwell on the 21st. As for St. Paul, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-56 defeat against Marais des Cygnes Valley on the 21st.
