Volleyball Recap: Desert Ridge Falls Despite Big Games from Kai Perkins and Bailey Demore

Desert Ridge lost against Williams Field back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jaguars fell 3-1 to the Black Hawks.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 19-25, 25-21.

Bailey Demore and Kai Perkins certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Demore had 15 digs, while Perkins had ten digs and two assists. Perkins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Desert Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Williams Field, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Desert Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Higley on the 21st. As for Williams Field, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Gilbert on the 21st.
