Basketball Recap: Aubrey Chaparrals vs. Ranchview Wolves
Aubrey entered their game against Ranchview on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Aubrey Chaparrals were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 29-28 to the Ranchview Wolves. The Chaparrals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Addi Cagle and Abby Buxton certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Cagle posted nine points in addition to five rebounds, while Buxton scored five points along with four steals. Aubrey will take on Reedy in a tournament on Monday. As for Ranchview, they will welcome Creekview at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
