Given Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Watseka is ranked 460th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin was led to victory by Chaz Dubois and Keison Peoples. Dubois scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Peoples scored 28 points along with two steals. Peoples hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Ingram, who scored nine points along with five assists.
