Loyola-Sacred Heart is 2-7 against Lincoln County since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rams will venture away from home to take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
On Friday, everything came up roses for Loyola-Sacred Heart against Powell County as the team secured a 42-6 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Wardens recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Loyola-Sacred Heart's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jakob Horner, who rushed for 63 yards and two scores on only six carries, and Andrew Richardson, who threw for 129 yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, Richardson racked up 121.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Loyola-Sacred Heart proved: they limited Powell County to a paltry 2.5 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Lincoln County owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They blew past Anaconda 26-0. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 26 points or more this season.
Loyola-Sacred Heart better keep an eye on Rogan Lytle. He was instrumental in Lincoln County's win, rushing for 220 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 53 yards and one TD. With that strong performance, Lytle is now averaging an impressive 101.5 rushing yards per game.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lincoln County's defense and their three sacks. Grant Brown refused to say out of the backfield, picking up a sack all by himself.
Loyola-Sacred Heart's record now sits at 2-3. As for Lincoln County, their record is now 3-1.
Loyola-Sacred Heart skirted past Lincoln County 17-14 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
