Rich had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Water Canyon Wildcats 55-14 on Friday. That looming 55-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rebels yet this season.

It was another big night for Jett Holmes, who threw for 181 yards and six TDs while completing 90.9% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 169.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August of 2024.

Rich didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Paxton Nicolodemos, Bode O'Mealy, and Hutson Robinson picked up one apiece.

The victory made it two in a row for Rich and bumps their season record up to 8-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Water Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Rich wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 50-8 victory against Whitehorse on the 7th. Water Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
