Pekin has gone a perfect 9-0 against East Peoria recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dragons will welcome the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. East Peoria took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pekin, who comes in off a win.

Pekin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Limestone 42-0 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dragons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Rockets are ranked 403rd).

Meanwhile, East Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-20 loss at the hands of Metamora.

East Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pekin, the win also got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Pekin against East Peoria in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 62-20 victory. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
