Football Preview: Charter Oak Chargers vs. Glendora Tartans        
        
		
             On Friday Charter Oak will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will square off against the Glendora Tartans at 7:00  p.m. Charter Oak is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 32.7  points per game  this season.
 Charter Oak is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Bonita just ended the team's  four-game winning streak  on Friday. They had to suffer through a   49-21 loss at the hands of the Bearcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Chargers have suffered  since October 19, 2023.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Corin Berry, who threw for 218 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. A healthy portion of  Berry's aerial production (99 yards to be exact)  went to  Marquis Bradley, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Glendora made easy work of Los Osos  on Friday and carried off  a  31-10 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tartans, who have now won four matches by 21  points or more  so far this season.
 Charter Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Glendora,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-4.
 Charter Oak suffered a grim  46-22 defeat to Glendora  in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023. Can Charter Oak avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
