West Orange's loss ends three-game winning streak at home

The West Orange Warriors suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 50-26 walloping at the hands of Colonial. West Orange was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-7.
When it comes to explaining why West Orange lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zoe Calvez. Despite the final result, she scored eight points.
West Orange's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Colonial, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.
West Orange will head out on the road to challenge Central Florida Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Florida Christian Academy will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Colonial will take on Lake Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
