Football Recap: Cross Has No Trouble Against Lake Marion

After losing to Lake Marion the last time they met, Cross decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans enjoyed a cozy 20-6 win over the Gators on Friday.

Mah'Ky Green was his usual excellent self, rushing for 157 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Cross' record now sits at 3-1. As for Lake Marion, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Cross will head out to take on Military Magnet Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lake Marion, they will be playing at home against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
