Basketball Recap: Racine Park Takes a Loss

Racine Park suffered their biggest defeat since January 7th on Thursday. They lost 89-65 to the Racine Case Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (63), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Racine Park still got an impressive performance from Ellie Khreish, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards. The matchup was Khreish's third in a row with at least ten points. Leylanna Cruz was another key player, putting up 12 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Racine Park and nudges their season record down to 10-11. As for Racine Case, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

When Racine Park and Racine Case next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Racine Park will try to stop Oak Creek's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
