Glendale has gone 8-2 against Waynesville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Falcons will square off against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Glendale challenged Nixa on Tuesday. The Falcons came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-5.

Meanwhile, Waynesville hadn't done well against Lebanon recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 3-1.

The win didn't come easy: Lebanon scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 19-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 13-7-3. As for Waynesville, their record is now 12-8-3.

Glendale couldn't quite get it done against Waynesville when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
