Columbus Catholic entered their tilt with Spencer on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They managed a 60-56 win over the Spencer Rockets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-52 back in December of 2024.

Columbus Catholic is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Spencer, they moved to 10-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Columbus Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-57 victory against Three Lakes on the 25th. As for Spencer, they will head out on the road to take on Loyal at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Spencer knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Loyal likes a good challenge.
