Auburn dropped their record down to 22-5 on Saturday, which also ended the team's 12-game streak of wins. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastside Spartans. The game marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

As for Eastside, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games.

For Eastside's part, not much got past Braelyn Hall, who gave up just three hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Auburn off the board. Hall has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Eastside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mallory Durham, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That's the most hits Durham has posted since back in March.

As of now, neither Auburn nor Eastside have any future games scheduled.
