After both having extra time off, the Stevens Falcons and the Taft Raiders will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stevens is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.

Alyssa Holguin was nothing short of spectacular: she had 18 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Stevens was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holmes only served four.
Meanwhile, Taft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell just short of Marshall by a score of 3-2.
Taft came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 23-25, 21-25, 15-12.
Stevens' record now sits at 17-18. As for Taft, their loss dropped their record down to 13-21.
Stevens came up short against Taft when the teams last played back in September, falling 3-1. Can Stevens avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
