Volleyball Recap: Poteet Wins Going Away Against Hillcrest

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Poteet walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hillcrest Panthers on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Despite the loss, Hillcrest saw an underclassman step up: freshman Resse Kim had 12 digs.

Poteet's victory bumped their record up to 32-12. As for Hillcrest, with the defeat, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 23-12-1.

Looking ahead, Poteet will face off against Ellison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
