Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlboro County). They put the hurt on the Darlington Falcons with a sharp 10-4 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Marlboro County's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Darlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Darlington will square off against Lakewood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Marlboro County will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' contest: after the Falcons face off against the Gators, they'll take on Marlboro County again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
