Volleyball Recap: Lockhart Takes a Loss

Lockhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Devine Warhorses / Arabians.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Devine to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cami Carroll, who had 15 digs and four assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kynedie Cruz, who had 17 assists and seven digs.

Lockhart's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Devine, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Lockhart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Rudder on the 29th. As for Devine, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Bastrop on the 29th.
