Basketball Game Preview: Southwest Raiders vs. Aledo Bearcats

Southwest hasn't had much luck against Aledo recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Southwest Raiders will take on the Aledo Bearcats in a tournament on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Southwest turned things around against Fossil Ridge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-47 win over the Panthers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aledo). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Springtown 87-46. The victory was nothing new for the Bearcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Aledo pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.5 points. As for Southwest, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
