It was a good run, but Sterlington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loyola College Prep Flyers. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Sterlington's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Loyola College Prep, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sterlington will host Bossier at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bossier will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Sterlington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Loyola College Prep, they will face off against Airline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
