Baseball Game Preview: University Christian Christians vs. West Nassau Warriors

The University Christian Christians will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the West Nassau Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

University Christian is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Fletcher. University Christian walked away with a 10-7 victory over Fletcher on Tuesday.

Lukas Brougham looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.

On the hitting side, Bo Wilson was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Bryson Harnage was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, West Nassau took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Columbia.
