Baseball Recap: St. Clair County Comes Up Short

St. Clair County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Vestavia Hills Rebels.

St. Clair County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Coker, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

St. Clair County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Vestavia Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Looking ahead, St. Clair County will take on Oak Lawn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vestavia Hills, they will welcome Tuscaloosa County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
