Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glenwood). Everything went their way against the MacArthur Generals on Thursday as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering Glenwood have won 11 matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting MacArthur from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. McKenzie Doe led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Glenwood has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight matches. As for MacArthur, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10-2.

Glenwood wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Normal University on the 7th. As for MacArthur, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-2 win against Taylorville on the 6th.
