Volleyball Recap: MMI Preparatory School Comes Up Short

MMI Preparatory School lost against Wilkes-Barre back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. MMI Preparatory School lost 3-0 to Wilkes-Barre. MMI Preparatory School has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Wilkes-Barre scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-21.

Cassidy McDermott paced MMI Preparatory School's offense, picking up 11 kills. McDermott got some help from Arushi Solgama and her 13 assists. Shreeya Parikh controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

MMI Preparatory School's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Wilkes-Barre, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, MMI Preparatory School will take on Lake-Lehman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Wilkes-Barre does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
