Basketball Recap: Bryn Schooley Key Part of a Team Effort in Warriors Win

There's no place like home for Castlewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They secured a 44-38 W over the Arlington Cardinals on Tuesday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 46-38 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Castlewood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryn Schooley, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Ruml, who scored six points and six rebounds.

Castlewood's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Arlington, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Castlewood will head out on the road to take on Hamlin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamlin will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Castlewood surely won't give up without a fight.
