Soccer Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

Windsor managed to keep up with South Windsor until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors lost 5-0 to the Bobcats. While losing is never fun, Windsor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 75th, while South Windsor are ranked tenth).

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-5. As for South Windsor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Windsor is set to square off against their familiar foe East Hartford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South Windsor will take on rival Glastonbury at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
