 The Johnson County Trojans will head out on the road to  take on  the Treutlen Vikings at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Johnson County has three straight  wins, Treutlen has four straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Last Thursday, Johnson County kept a clean sheet against McIntosh County Academy. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Buccaneers. Two seems to be a good number for Johnson County as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  goals in their previous game.
 They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 Makenzie Barber and 
 Josey Scott, who scored both of Johnson County's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of five so far this season.
 Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Treutlen's offense. They ended up on the wrong side of a  rough 6-0 walloping at the hands of Portal on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Treutlen has lost by exactly six  goals.
 Johnson County now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Treutlen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Johnson County came up short against Treutlen when the teams last played  back in March of 2023, falling  2-0. Can Johnson County avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
