Logansport is 8-1 against Wabash since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Berries will face off against the Apaches at 5:30 p.m. Neither Logansport nor Wabash posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Logansport came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Berries have suffered since April 25th.

Carson Dubes was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits.

Meanwhile, Wabash suffered their closest defeat since April 30, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Northwestern by a score of 3-1. The Apaches have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Cooper Long spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Wabash saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackey Sorg, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Wabash's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Logansport, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Logansport took their victory against Wabash in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Berries since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
