Basketball Game Preview: Carson Cougars vs. Lake Norman Charter Knights

The Carson Cougars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Lake Norman Charter Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Carson was beaten by Northwest Cabarrus 70-20. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Lake Norman Charter strolled past South Rowan with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 62-43.

Lake Norman Charter has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Carson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Carson came up short against Lake Norman Charter in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 51-39. Can Carson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
