Baseball Game Preview: Crockett County Cavaliers vs. Chester County Eagles

The Crockett County Cavaliers will challenge the Chester County Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Crockett County will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Wednesday, Crockett County was able to grind out a solid victory over Jackson South Side, taking the game 7-2.

Meanwhile, Chester County's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They came up short against Huntingdon, falling 11-3. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Caleb Cole was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Goff, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chester County fell to 3-1. As for Crockett County, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Crockett County beat Chester County 6-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does Crockett County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chester County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
