Soccer Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Helias' Fifth in Last Six Outings

The matchup between Helias and Father Tolton on Wednesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Crusaders never let Father Tolton get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Helias might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by three goals or more this season.

Helias is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those six games. As for Father Tolton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Helias will head out to square off against St. Francis Borgia at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Father Tolton, they will venture away from home to challenge Christian Fellowship at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
