Volleyball Recap: South Point Triumphs

South Point lost to Charlotte Christian on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Red Raiders had just enough and edged out the Knights 2-1.

Among those leading the charge was Kaitlyn Ledford, who had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024.

South Point is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Charlotte Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Point is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Highland Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Charlotte Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Charlotte Latin at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
