Copley triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Izzy Callaway

Recap: Copley Indians vs. Tallmadge Blue Devils

The Copley Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Tallmadge 67-46. The win was just what Copley needed coming off of a 51-31 defeat in their prior contest.

Izzy Callaway was her usual excellent self, scoring 29 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Copley's points. Kami Ayoup was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Copley's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Tallmadge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Copley will challenge Highland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Highland is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Tallmadge, they will head out on the road to face off against Barberton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Barberton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 660th, while Tallmadge is ranked 200th).
