Baseball Game Preview: Dobson Mustangs vs. Mountain View Toros

For the second straight game, Dobson will face off against Mountain View. Dobson will head out to take on Mountain View at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Dobson has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with five straight losses, while Mountain View will come in with five straight wins.

Dobson lost 20-5 to Mountain View on Monday.

For Mountain View's part, Tadon Mcknight looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Those two hits allowed gave Mcknight a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Ryan Person was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckham Barney, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Mountain View lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Mountain View now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Dobson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Dobson hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Mountain View struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs.
