Football Recap: Hackleburg Panthers vs. Lynn Bears
Hackleburg took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They were the clear victor by a 33-13 margin over the Lynn Bears. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Panthers just coasted through the last quarter.
Hackleburg's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blaise Vickery, who threw for 232 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 50 yards. Jaquan Reeder was another key signal caller, gaining 169 total yards and two touchdowns.
Lynn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Hackleburg will take on Meek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynn, they are taking a road trip to face off against Brilliant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
