Basketball Recap: Donovan Catholic's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Donovan Catholic had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 66-49 win over the Brick Township Green Dragons on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Griffins also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Brick Township's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Donovan Catholic will head out to square off against Red Bank Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brick Township, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakewood at 5:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
