Conifer waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Evergreen Cougars 27-7. The Lobos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

A big part of Conifer's win came down to the chemistry between Charlie Ostrowski and his top target Solomon Washer. Ostrowski threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns while Washer picked up 124 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Ostrowski is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Conifer didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Evergreen to a completion percentage of just 46.9%. The team can thank Silar Washer for the heroic effort on defense: he. Conifer hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.6 or higher in five consecutive matchups.
