Recap: Tindley Tigers vs. Riverside Argonauts
There's no place like home for the Tindley Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Riverside 67-12 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-7.
Tindley found their leader in underclassman Taylor Cotham, who dropped a triple-double on 18 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists. That's the first time this season that Cotham posted eight or more assists. Rachel Day was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six steals.
Tindley's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
Tindley will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Phalen Leadership Academy at 6:30 p.m. Phalen Leadership Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Riverside, they will square off against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
