The Murrieta Mesa Rams will challenge the Perris Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Murrieta Mesa headed into their last game having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Rancho Verde let them put that streak behind them. Murrieta Mesa never let Rancho Verde onto the board and left with a 4-0 win on Monday. The score was close at the half, but the Rams pulled away in the second half with three goals.

Meanwhile, Perris put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They put the hurt on Rubidoux with a sharp 5-1 victory. Considering the Panthers have won four matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Perris' win bumped their record up to 5-0-1. As for Murrieta Mesa, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
