Basketball Recap: Froid/Medicine Lake Comes Up Short

Froid/Medicine Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. 2025 welcomed they with a 52-32 loss courtesy of the Poplar Indians. The Redhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Froid/Medicine Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Poplar, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Froid/Medicine Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poplar, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Wolf Point on Thursday.
