After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Country Christian, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Western Christian Pioneers by a score of 17-12. That five run margin sets a new team best for Kennedy this season.

Grace Traeger made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. Traeger has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Traeger was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Kennedy let Brianna Traeger and Madelyn Schaecher loose on the outfield. Traeger scored five runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances, while Schaecher scored four runs while going 4-for-5.
