Excel is a perfect 8-0 against Escambia County since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Escambia County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamarion Robinson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Robinson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Jamarrion Silar also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Excel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Escambia County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Escambia County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Excel has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. It's a different story for Escambia County, though, as they've only averaged .329. Will they be able to contain Excel's hitters?

Excel beat Escambia County 11-6 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Excel since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
