Football Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jefferson was the 31-3 winner over Broadwater when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 47-7. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Broadwater's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marek Easter, who rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. Those 130 rushing yards gave Easter a new career-high. Tavyn Anderson was another key passer, throwing for 117 yards and a pair of TDs.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Broadwater, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jefferson will take on rival Sweet Grass County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Broadwater is set to face off against their familiar foe Manhattan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 14.8, the Tigers 7.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
