Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, South Walton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Miami Springs Golden Hawks by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Seahawks' loss signaled the end of their 21-game winning streak.

South Walton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Quinn, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

South Walton's defeat dropped their record down to 31-4. As for Miami Springs, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 28-3.

As of now, neither South Walton nor the Golden Hawks have any future games scheduled.
