Dunnellon fell victim to Vanguard and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 11-0. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Dunnellon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Vanguard, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunnellon will face off against West Port at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Wolf Pack at the right time seeing as the Wolf Pack are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
