Volleyball Recap: Kealakehe Takes a Loss

Kealakehe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ka Makani this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Kealakehe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hawaii Prep, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Coincidentally, Kealakehe and Hawaii Prep will both be playing Kohala the next time they take the court. The Waveriders will head out to face the Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Ka Makani will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th.
